Very nice looking 1911. Post up a report about it if you have the time. I heard some issues with the Sig 1911's.

Taking it out tomorrow morning at BSR. I'll follow up when I get back. I've read good things about their function, with the coating being crappy and coming off if carried. Hope it goes well.  ;)

The Green, Black, and Tan do look boss on that 45.
I like that slide stop too, I wonder if Sig sells those as a part.

Put about 175 rounds through it today. It seemed to be shooting a bit left, but otherwise my groupings were decent. Had a few failure to feeds, maybe 5 or 6 total. They happened with both the SIG mag and a Wilson Combat 47DAB.

Like I thought though, I don't think this was shot ever even though I picked it up used. It has very little wear shown. I think I need to get a couple hundred more rounds through it to loosen it up a bit. I've heard that they are actually pretty reliable. I shot 25 rounds of Winchester PDX-1 HPs through it with one FTF, but it was after 125 rounds had already been through it.

I moved the rear sight to the right a few millimeters and i'll see if i'm on target now. Even when resting the gun I was a bit left which is why I moved it.

Recoil was much more substantial compared to the FNP 45 Tactical. Like night and day different! I really like them both though!

About to order the IWB holster for the Scorpion soon.
