Glock dream
« on: February 20, 2012, 01:22:45 AM »
So I kinda have a dream glock configuration. The problem is the glock website doesnt set up configurations like that.

What I would like is a Glock G19 Gen4 with the rear sights having some sort of truglo type deal. Glow in the Dark, but I want the front sight to be red(glow in the dark also).

I also want a leather shoulder holster (R handed) or for two guns.

I also want a 33 rd mag.

And I want a Laser/flashlight attachment on the front rail

Anyone know what I can do/where I can get this?

You should be able to find all that on line. Truglo for sights, Crimson Trace for Laser /light.Try CDNN Sports for the 33 round mag at fair price.

That's all available out of midway, ctd, brownells, etc etc etc.

I'm lost on the holster. You want two guns with g18mags one one side? Or one on each side?

You get them both under one arm your gonna need a v8!

The Semi Auto Gun Shop in Winsted could hook you up with that, they install Glock sights too.

You are going to have real fun carrying a Glock with a 33-round mag in a shoulder holster.  ;D

Yes, that is a dream Glock set up - a nightmare, if you will.

I've actually seen a guy do that.  He had one of those shoulder rigs where the gun barrel is horizontal instead of vertical.  If I recall correctly, it's got a spring loaded paddle.  You put your hand palm flat on your chest with fingers straight, slide the fingers under the paddle, and lift outward away from your body, and the gun jumps into your hand.  Extended magazine and all.  It even has room for that tac light and laser.

Not the safest design that I've seen, but it was cool though.

MadSmith thats pretty creative!

Let me clarify, I would like a shoulder holster where I can hold two pistols (one under each arm)

Then with the sights (this is the confusing part) I want my sights to glow in the dark. The rear sights I want NOT TO BE TWO DOTS, but rather the "U" looking rear sights. However, they must glow in the dark. Then I want the front sight to be glow in the dark, but RED.

does anyone know if having the Crimson trace grips alter the feel of the gun? or am I better off with a Surefire flashlight/laser combo.

Why?  I am trying to get my head around the set up that you describe.

Accessories on gun should make you more effective to shoot and fight with it, not look like a nightclub.

Skip the sights, skip the disco laser and the ghetto shoulder rig.

Buy some more magazines, a metric ton of ammo, a decent belt holster and focus on the fundamentals of shooting.  All that other crap is a distraction.

Well, if I posted up questions regarding a 1973 Dodge Tradesman van, with quadraphonic sound, shag carpeting, an air mattress and disco ball, I would hope someone here would smack me upside the head and tell me what a bad idea that was.  Having it for a novelty instead of a daily driver doesn't make my idea any less stupid.
