Custom...Hi-Point Oh Yea 8)
« on: February 10, 2012, 03:17:15 PM »
Probably going to get some dung tossed at me for this one but here it goes... Just bought a Hi-Point JCP .40 last week and I got bored and decided to try some things out for future reference. I paid $125 for so messing it up wasn't a concern. Anyway the grip on the hi-point is horrible its as smooth as glass. So I decided to try my hand at stippling and IMO it came out great MUCH MUCH better. I also decided hey why not paint it too. I took the grips off, taped some things off, and removed some internals then prepped and sprayed with Krylon Fusion. Had some bleeding from the paint under the taping but no big deal. And now I have a 1 of a kind Hi-Point  :P :-[ :-\ 8)

LOL Is it a good disease or a bad disease?

Yea Put 150rds through it so far with 4 stovepipes due to me limp wristing through the first 2 mags after that no problems at all.

That looks good, SPO!  :)

Now you need to install a top rail for the scope.  :)

Then the mods would cost more than the gun  :-[

I think I might glow paint the sights though. And before anybody asks no I do not carry this big ars brick.

Beadazzled!

No seriously, looks good man. Nothing like experimenting with no regrets and getting a pleasing result.

I think it needs a big chrome compensator hanging off the front though. ;)

And a french cut along the top of the slide, along with gold-filled scrollwork to decorate the rest of the gun.  ;D
