ALL 4 PELLETS FROM THE 000 BUCKSHOT PENETRATED THE 4TH JUG ("roughly 18"-24" in penetration" according to this video).

If your concerned about 000 buck not penetrating winter clothing (which I'm sure it will) then carry .45LC. The follow up shots are butter. I shot this gun before, rapidly w/ both loads at a self defense distance.

I PROVED it, its proven & its good enough for me.

I proved that its adequate. Can you prove that its 'inadequate'?

I have NO doubt in my mind that .410 000 Buckshot will ruin a BG's day. Same with the .45LC.

But why the hell would I carry something that has the same handling characteristics as a brick?

Well, in reality, you really didn't prove anything.  I'm not even interested in disproving anything either. I carry a proven round in a proven pistol and that's really all I'm concerned about. The Judge remains a litmus test in the gun world.

Exactly why I didn't reply. Didn't want to argue with someone who is adamant about justifying their purchase.

Screw it, this should help  ;) And like CTb said, how about the addition of clothing, any kind of clothing for that matter.

Sorry, but I don't buy it. 410ga out of a short as heck barrel penetrating 4 jugs? Maybe if they are empty.

^^^THIS!!! Bond Arms is a very nice firearm and BlueMax is correct they are built like tanks lol. I would also purchase a Bond Arms 45/410 over the judge anyday. Not because I do not care for taurus firearms at all (which I don't) but its a better made firearm and easier to carry.  I use to carry a Cobra 45/410 side by side very fun firearms and has an impressive look but not that well built as the Bond Arms. I would carry it on hikes also or just something to have on me when the option of carrying a larger firearm would not do. My Cobra finially broke years ago and if I was to purchase another 45/410 the Bond Arms is the way to go for me.

I got the 10mm Barrell and the 357mag barrell.  The 10 really hurts lol  ;D  I stick to the 410/45lc

I'd rather carry a Philly Derringer than a Judge. It handles better, & likely packs more wallop than it lets on.  ;)
