I hot Alan's .500 and it's a FUN experience. Although I did end up pullling a "skeletal muscle" in my chest. Hurt pretty darn good for 2-3 days. But my 93 pound 5 foot 2 girlfriend shot and had no problems lol guess that means I'm whimpy. Alan is 100% on the trigger it's VERY nice clean and crisp. On single action all you need is a slight pull. Kinda scared me since I wasn't ready for that light of a trigger (prob why I hurt myself) if anyone wants to see my gf shoot I'll be happy to post a video when I get home tonight from work.

well guys, i actually just youtubed some vids on the 460 and i am liking it! i like the fact that it can shoot 3 different rounds... and you're right safeaction from the vids of the 460 shooting the 45lc it def looks like a 22 round! lol! this gun i think changed my mind !

If your interested in checking out the .460 XVR before purchasing let me know, be more than happy to meet at a range if you want to check one out prior to purchasing.

Also for the record, this is strictly a fun gun for myself.

I want a .500 so bad I can taste it.  NGX has 2 in stock.  One is over 8" and the other is a 4" compensated...  I'm hot for the short one.  This is going to be a "just for fun" gun and the 4" is sure to please.  I really really want to see it belch flame out of the barrel, straight up from the compensator and from the cylinder.  Call me silly, but I love big pistol calibers.  Just dumb fun.

Does it taste like the front sight base, or the barrel?

It's a 4"...  I'm pretty sure I can take it to the cylinder.

Wait... What?
