Colt Trooper mkIII grips

Hey all, I am looking for a set of wood combat grips for my trooper mkiii?

Does anyone know if the python grips interchange with the trooper?

Nope.

According to my Gun Parts Corp. catalog, the Python is an "I" frame (along with the original Trooper) and the Trooper Mk III is a "J" frame, so Python grips are a no-no.

Supposedly anything made for a Lawman MK V, Lawman MK III, Metropolitan MK III, Official Police MK III, Peacekeeper, Trooper MK V will be good.

Gun Parts Corp lists at least three styles of wooden grips that should work.
