Back when CDNN was closing out the Mateba revolvers I was awfully tempted to get one, but I never did.  These descendants are tempting me again, but it's still a lot of money for an odd revolver.

Apparently, the hammer isn't the hammer. What appears to be the hammer is really a lever that can be used to c*ck the real hammer which is internal. You can't tell if the weapon is c*cked by looking at the external "hammer."

Stuff to learn.
