Hey All just seen the trailer for the Rocks new Movie.Hes goin to use a Ruger Alaskan in 454

It is the Rock, Man, he can handle anything.

I wonder how much Ruger paid to have their wheelgun featured in the movie.  seems like an entertaining movie though.

Hey Doc the picture of him holding that ruger makes it look real small when i hold mine its real big ;) He is a big Dude.I must say id like to see the movie.He must make a mess out of anybody thats on the other end of that cannon

They do show some other guns in the movie on that link Glocks , Kimbers,HK Looks like a shooting movie for sure.

Bluemax, do you think they'll ever make a movie based on the Ruger LCP?  that will be a sight to see.

I like the Rock - his movies has been entertaining and the premise of this current movie already got me hook.

do they make speedloaders for the ruger alaskan?  I wonder if they show him handloading or using speedloaders.

Hi Doc,I dont know if they have used a LCP in Movies yet.But great ? on the Speed Loaders i really dont know if they make them ;) I will have to check online.

I would love to have some Speed Loaders for mine :)

Hey LTB45 Yes Earl made that holster:) He sells them on ebay but i called and asked for this type it is lined and real stiff also has a leg strap but i dont use it.He makes alot of Ruger Holsters ;)      Good Eye LTB45 ;)

nice ruger set up gents.  I don't own any Ruger wheelguns but I do have a weakness for the GP100 and shooting .357 magnums in it.  the heavy pistol really soaks up the recoil. 

bluemax, have you tried any of the tuff quik strips?  their .44 quik strips supposedly fits the .454.  I just ordered some for my .38 special; I hope that they work well.
