How is Direct TV?
« on: November 07, 2011, 02:11:00 PM »
Cox crapped out in Meriden with the storm, which is not surprising, but it's been days now and I can't even get an ETA on when I might have service back.  Sooner or later I'll just cut losses and look for something else.

I wish Uverse were offered in our area.

edit:
Specifically with Direct TV I was looking for any problems with picture quality or service.  I have one friend that swears it's spectacular and another who curses it and went back to cable.

No News 12 and reception can be bad to none at times during overcast skies. You also have to put the dish somewhere its not blocked by anything. Normal picture quality is the same as anyone else tthough.

I have satellite TV and regular clouds or rain will not bother the signal.  A good thunderstorm will screw it up, though.
