Re: CT E Regulations email anyone??
by sbhaven | Today at 09:49:29 AM
If it was merely "fleshing out" the list of exempted pistols, it would be no big thing, but look at what a potential purchaser will have to supply in order to buy one:Like it or not the stupid existing law indicates one has to sign a form in addition to DESPP indicating which "Olympic" pistols can be sold in spite of being an AW. When one looks at the existing language (below), what the additional language (linked above) indicates is being fleshed out in more detail."(4) The sale of a semiautomatic pistol that is defined as an assault weapon in any provision of subparagraphs (B) to (F), inclusive, of subdivision (1) of section 53-202a that the Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection designa...
Re: M&P 2.0 FS or C
by brianc401 | Today at 09:31:06 AM
Subscribing. I will be picking up a 4.25 2.0 Thursday. I order a Bravo torsion holster and plan to carry AIWB. I carry a G19 now in a Ravon Eidolon and can conceal it. Also had no problem concealing a G17 in the Raven.Hi white95. I’m impressed you have no issue aiwb carrying a g17 or m&p 2.0 4.25. Do you wear sweatshirts a lot?My problem with concealment has always been that once I’m indoors, I can’t wear anything but a short sleeve shirt or T-shirt. Otherwise, I sweat. I’m a thin guy 6ft and 195. But, my body temp runs slightly higher than norm. I haven’t tried a holster with a claw yet, though. That might help tuck the grip in better.Another question for you... do you still have all those guns? Maybe I cud steal some of your reasoning for when my wife asks me to explain why...

Not if binary triggers are banned by malloy. Maybe if they make a firearm that fires only on the trigger release?Definitely doable.  Release triggers have been available for decades.  Mostly for benchrest shooters....

Re: A Woman wants a gun. The husband is a felon.
by SirWilliam | Yesterday at 08:17:13 PM
Well 13 years ago (pre permit and reg era) a convicted felon was arrested on larceny charges. Several rifles were in the home and it was claimed they belonged to the wife. Part of the plea agreement was the rifles be donated and sold to benefit some CSP favorite charity. Take it for whatever its worth......

Re: Magnifier and Holo
by Sixshot6 | Yesterday at 06:05:37 PM
Planning on adding a Vortex 3x Magnifier and EO Tech Holo to my AR15.  Will go with EO 512 or 518.  Major difference other than about $80 bucks is the 518 is a touch larger, and has side controls versus the rear controls on the 512 and would allow me to mount the magnifier as close as possible. So here's my questions.  Are there any major benefits to having the magnifier and holo as close as possible rather than being maybe an inch, inch and a half gap if I went with the 512?Thanks!Vortex does their own holo I'd like to add

I here you edge but a job lost is a job lost. I have been in CT since the early 2000s and have seen quite a few regular employees there since. Some of those employees had found work there and stayed and played the loyal game only to be shuttered out by locked doors and a fed ex delivered pink slip. I'm fortunate like some of you to have jobs that may not do the same but at the end it's a business and I wish those employees a rebound job. Sent from my SM-G935P using TapatalkI have lived here since the mid-80s. I have watched this state go from a place like New Hampshire to a place worse than NY and MA. I feel for anyone who has lost a job regardless of how good it is or not. I have friends and family in retail. It is not an easy way to earn a living. I did it briefly in High Schoo...

Re: Anyone here use the Kore Trakline belt?
by imahangtia | Yesterday at 10:37:28 AM
I have tried the buckle (X2 model) from my leather Trackline gun belt on one of my R.G.B. belts.  It works perfectly 100% of the time.  The R.G.B. buckles are pretty, but they don't release properly for me when they are tight for carrying my Glock 29 IWB, or if I just try it tight without a gun.The R.G.B. belts might be returned for refund.  Sad.  I really like them....

Re: Need help with my garage door.

Clearly stuck a nerve with everyone. Im a moron for agreeing to pay $89 per $5 cable plus $99 installation and $39 safety and diagnostic fee. I dont care what you call it but 15 mins of work (if that) doesnt make that guy a rocket scientist. I got the sense he made the prices up and I should have been smarter.Im all about paying for a service but at closer inspection no way that was fair pricing.Again ALL my fault, I should work harder to be more self suffucient like the generations that came before us....
