Re: Looking for the best place for first time training
by CtpistolWorx | Yesterday at 09:52:41 PM
Why do you think you need training? What are you training for? Whats the matter can't you hit a target? Do you think you are going to have to fast draw against a bad guy? Check the internet for self defense videos. You will see speed draws almost never happen. What you need is a smooth clean draw form your holster not fast. Defensive Pistol or similar is not about fast draws but about skill sets that are used to apply the gun in a "self defensive" situation. Its much more complex and layered then just reloading or drawing.  Its a process that has evolved as more information and research comes in, mainly paid with the price of blood. Its not something that you'll figure out or just do by your self, and most importantly please don't source it from the internet.&nb...

Re: Arisaka length of pull
by CTSixshot | November 19, 2017, 05:27:58 PM
Remember, the Japanese soldiers were giants! As per Wikipedia:Length (Type 99) 1,118 mm (44.0 in) or 1,258 mm (49.5 in) The Type 99 was produced in four versions, the regular issue Type 99 Short Rifle, the Type 99 Long Rifle (a limited production variant) and takedown Type 2 Paratroop Rifle and the Type 99 Sniper Rifle. The standard rifle also came with a wire monopod and an anti-aircraft sighting device. The Type 99 was the first mass-produced infantry rifle to have a chrome lined bore to ease cleaning. All of these features were abandoned by mid-war.
