7.62x54R at Midway
by CTSixshot | Today at 11:53:04 AM don't know if 43¢ a round is a bargain, but shipping will probably make it less attractive.FWIW, I've got brass-cased Albanian surplus that I'll put out for $7.50 a bundle (20 rounds). These have the .217" diameter berdan primers, if that works for you (if the LRBs ever come back to the USA, you can easily reload these cases)....

I just use 40 grain standard velocity, it doesn't break the sound barrier in my pistol or 22 rifle with suppressor. I have a few bricks of the Aguila stuff that works well in everything....

Re: private range in progun town
by M1A_All_Day | Yesterday at 08:51:02 AM
I've seen the 10 acre for hunting with centerfire on private land multiple times over the years... here's a snapshot from DEEP's FAQs (IDK what the actual reg is).  Obviously this doesn't apply to shotgun. That's hunting regulations, defining what qualifies as "private land". Certain parts of certain species' hunting seasons are only on "private" land. CT DEEP has no jurisdiction over target shooting other than enforcing criminal law, if needed. ...

I used to love TED talks, I just don't listen to them really anymore.  Once they started growing so big with the Tedx and all the local talks, they started having a lot more speakers that weren't qualified, like the idiot here....
Re: Bold Carry: Using an M203 Grenade Launcher for Personal Defense
by joelcramer | January 17, 2019, 06:29:20 PM
It might not be such a bad choice for some situations. Lots of choices in ammo that a civilian can get. Lots of less then lethal like bean bags, batons and rubber bullets. Then you have the different gas rounds like smoke and tear gas not to mention barricade busting tear gas. Now we move into the lethal stuff like buck shot rounds and the bee hive, imagine up to 18 rounds of 22 LR going down range all at the same time! Not so sure I would have it strapped to my thigh, but as part of a doomsday cache it is a winner!...

Thanks for the replies.  The Gun Store is a little far from me but I will have to check it out, I have heard good things from a few people.Re: Greyson’s - I was told last weekend that there is only one guy who does out of state transfers and he doesn’t work weekends. I was able to find another shop to do the transfer but they wouldn’t ship until Monday.  It is very hard for me to get away from work during the week so I have to rely on places that can do this on weekends.Greysons- go anywhere but Greysons! Go see Joel...
