Re: Gun Grabber Liberman being considered? WTF?

Approx 5:10pm - on WTNH I heard Lieberman is out as potential FBI director. He was never a serious contender anyway. Trump probably had a big list of names and put some liberal gun haters like Lieberman on it to stir up the media....

Re: 80% pistols OK?
by joelcramer | Today at 03:23:22 PM
Just to be a stick in the mud. There is no such thing as an 80% anything. There is no regulation that uses the term or defines the term 80%. The idea that you can make something to some imaginary point and call it 80% is silly. This is from the FTB Bullentin 102813. There is a link to it below. It is important to note that Federal firearms statutes and supplemental regulations do not employ the terms “80%,” “80% finished ,”or “80% complete.” Better details at the link. However it is aimed at AR lowers but the interpretation will also apply to the so called 80% pistols. ...
Re: Preban AR'S
by DINK | Today at 01:51:41 PM
I don't understand how it's legal to have a 'truck gun', even if it's unloaded, considering the possession of deadly statute, which includes several listed items, "or any other dangerous or deadly weapon or instrument". Doesn't that include a rifle or shotgun? While rifles and shotguns are indeed "dangerous and deadly" they are covered by a different statute that specifically addresses rifles, shotguns and muzzleloaders.Sec. 53-205. Loaded shotguns, rifles and muzzleloaders prohibited in vehicles and snowmobiles. (a) No person shall carry or possess in any vehicle or snowmobile any shotgun, rifle or muzzleloader of any gauge or caliber while such shotgun, rifle or muzzleloader contains in the barrel, chamber or magazine any loaded shell or c...

Sodas from the machine or bring your own. We will even put your stuff in our reefer for you. There are also two boating safety classes being scheduled that I will post when I have them. These courses will cost $25.00 a person. This course will cover Boating, personal water craft and water skiing. Two of the hunter safety dates are on our annual Ham and Turkey shoots. So bring a few extra dollars and try to win yourself a ham or turkey (Ham in the spring and Turkey in the f...

Re: Ban state products
by BerettaBoy213 | Yesterday at 10:55:01 PM
Or the NRA backed lawsuit against CA's AWB and standard capacity magazine ban.I think Kolbe has more chance of suceeding. The ruling had such tortured logic and so twisted Heller that SCOTUS cannot let it stand without effectively reversing themselves. On the other hand CA could give a bunch of much more "reasonable" sounding reasons for their AWB (which have been given in every case up until Kolbe 2). Kolbe is such a big deal IMO because of how outlandishly the arguements used by the the 4th curcuit in reversing itself were. They were basically saying Heller could be twisted to mean anything and therefore effectively be ignored and I am inclined to believe SCOTUS won't take kindly to such uppityness vs. a generic lawsuit who's interpretation is about "the fac...

Something very similar ought to go to Blumy and Murph who have been making an unusual amount of noise since Trump unseated the Would Be Queen. Of course Murphy is up for reelection in a fairly short time so is doing everything he can to show what a vibrant involved and left wing loon he is, playing to his base.  Ask these two jokers the same questions and see what (if) answers you get. They tend to ignore folks who ask this stuff. ...

How does the state define armor piercing? Per the link posted up thread, the state defines armor piercing ammunition and it pretty much follows the federal definition.Sec. 53-202l. Armor piercing and incendiary .50 caliber ammunition: Definition. Sale or transfer prohibited. Class D felony. U.S.C., § 921(a)(17)(B)

Re: .300, I don't know enough about the round to say. I like new and different rounds- 458 looks really cool, and I love the 22TCM in a pistol. If I spot a .300 upper at the range, I'll definitely borrow and try it on the Comgraf lower- should operate no different from the 5.56.Blackout uppers work just like 5.56.  Even use the same bcg and mags.  I have one and it makes for an easy conversion from 5.56 to .30.  Just don't forget and pop in a mag loaded with blk when the 5.56 upper is installedSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk...
