We don't have to worry anymore about texting drivers killing us, because now we have sleeping drivers that will kill the texting drivers.

This is what lib/progs wanted. I hear it all they time from the liberals n progressives. They want a vehicle they can get into and it drives itself while they sleep, after drinking in the bars, do work, or whatever. Hope they get the book thrown at them.

The person recording the video while driving isn't much better.

You should be able to just get in front of the car and slow it down.    Probably better driven than half the cars on the road.

Tesla's "auto pilot" is driver assistance not self-driving. If pushed the police will ticket them.

Self-driving cars are coming, like it or not. I am in the industry and I have seen what is coming. While cool I think it is way too much. I enjoy driving. I hope in my lifetime I am not forced to ride in a self-driving car.

I do like the idea of self-driving for ahole who get behind the wheel drunk. For old people who can't drive but can live on their own. For emergencies, etc. Just the stuff has to work. It is getting there but we have years before it really works.

I wonder if the person with the camera got the license plate on video (or wrote it down) and reported it to police.  Or, maybe the guy is pretending to sleep and was working with the camera operator to create a hoax.
