My neighbor purchased one of these for his .45 ACP and while charging a magazine, a round detonated and blew the thing apart.
Don't know all of the details, but I figured I'd mention it on the forum.

We use these all the time for the range guns and have never had a problem. Can you be more specific about what happened?

No.  I just saw the pictures of a ruptured case with a loose bullet and pieces of the loader all over the place. One piece in the ceiling.
Next time i see him, I'll see if I can get some more details.

Okay. He was sitting at the table loading Silver Bear .45 ACP as per instructions; I'll let you speculate as to what happened.
He ended up with a blood blister wound on his belly, minor hand wounds, plus a bullet impact in the ceiling and dents on the maple table top where he was seated with the magazine on the hardwood top.

Perhaps the berdan primers are very sensitive; no high primers noted in the box...

My one Magula is like a 20 year old Corolla with almost 300k miles.
It's seen shit. It still works fine.

I loved the 8RC, but I don't think they were in Corollas... and that was more like 50 years ago
