Good afternoon,
Joe here with Lyman.  Haven't seen one of those in a long long time.  I know I don't have anything here at the lab that will work sorry.  I do have a name of an antique sight dealer that we recommend trying.

Ken Bean
383 Yorkana Road
York, PA 17406
717-755-9070

Give him a try and I will keep my eye open.  What letter designation is on the sight i.e. SL, AT, WR or what is it mounted on?  Thanks.
Joe

I called Lyman customer service and they already gave me his contact info and I had other 2 people send me to Ken. He was not able to help. I will have to look to see what  letter designation is on the sight. However it is on the right side of the receiver. I have a plan 2. I will have Mark at Delta Arsenal weld on the missing parts that I will scab off another sight. It will be a bit jury rigged but it will work. I will be going to a 900 table antique arms shoe in PA on mothers day. I think that will be the best chance for me to find what I need.

Thank you for your help.

Okay I figured you may have already called seeing as we are right down the street.  I hope you find what you need at the show, and like I said I will look around in the nooks and cranny's here maybe I'll find something.

Yeah STEEVO these are in the unicorn realm of old sights, that rack and pinon was a cool design back in to 1907.

Take care.

it looks like the right sight to me. I have been checking gunbroker and ebay and I have not see this. Thanks for the link. I just bid on it. This will not go on a Remington model 8 I need it for a US MARKED Winchester 1885 Low Wall WINDER Musket. I hope it is the same. Even if it is not I might be able to use the part that holds the peep sight in my body.

Okay so that should be a 41WR sight, it was made for the 1895 Winchesters.  I believe that the slides and apertures were all the same on the 41's and the only difference between the three different models we offered were the bases and location of the mounting holes.  I think you would have no issues using the aperture assembly from the 41AT (Remington 8 and 81) sight to complete your 41.

I now know this is not the right sight. Mine has 4 mounting holes this one has only 3. I hope I can use the part that mine needs replaced. If not I will have the holes welded up and new holes drilled where I need them.
