Any thoughts / impressions on that Geco ammo?  Aim Surplus always seems to be selling it.

"GECO is part of the Swiss company RUAG that also owns the popular ammunition brands RWS and Rottweil. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases."

Seems to be the economy brand of RUAG, which makes good ammo (GP11). I've reloaded GECO brass; works just fine. Can't say I've purchased and fired any GECO as I rarely buy factory ammo, but I've heard no complaints.

Yes, 26¢ for .45 ACP 230g JHP seems like a bargain; not many other HP's go for this price.
BTW, do they charge sales tax and shipping? I know they've been running free shipping on >$49 repeatedly..

I’ve been shooting geco in 9mm, .45acp, .357mag/38spl for a few years without a single issue.  Brass was spotless and rounds fired quite clean also. All calibers cycled flawlessly in various firearms i own.  Going back a couple years, when i first looked into buying geco, i remeber reading it was used for factory test firing at either glock or hk, but not sure if thats accurate.

$.26/rd for .45 is tough to beat for factory fresh rounds.  I wouldnt hesitate to stock up on that stuff

They've got 5.56x45mm for 26¢ per round, too.

Probably not a great savings over TargetsSportsUSA, but not too shabby.

Thank you for the information. I ordered 500rnds of the 45acp JHP, when I went to pick it up after it was delivered i was a little bit surprised. I didn't realize how heavy the package would be. They want a copy of your permit and license to complete the sale and it isn't real obvious when ordering on their website.

Most places ask for it, on your initial purchase, I've found.

Once they have it on file, they don't usually ask again.
