I’m still on the fence with this whole don’t use a vertical foregrip that’s not long enough. I don’t see where the BCM stubby would make the firearm non compliant.

Also most people just place the vertical foregrip in a spot where it basically gets used as a handstop for memory.

Cool, enjoy! Try some 147 grain rounds for a little thump.

Any suggestions for an affordable optic, not looking to break the bank.

I like the holosun HS503C for a red dot. gives you the ACOG "circle dot" reticle in a small package with near-unlimited battery life for $200.

The BCM verticals foregrip should be perfectly fine. I don’t think the little one is any shorter than the Magpul it just has a oval shap to it. The shape is nicer for the thinner less than 1.5 inch rails IMO.

I wish the pinning of the upper never started. My understanding is this is not a legal requirement but something FFL ‘s started doing so people wouldn’t get “jammed” up. I mean I understand there’s a lot of people who don’t understand the laws but I think most gun owners are perfectly aware of what size upper / barrel length is needed to be legal in CT.

I wish a FFL would get a company like BCM or cmmg to make others.

Ran a few hundred rounds through it this passed weekend and all worked fine. Added spacers to the stock and settle on an optic and get her back out there.
