Apparently a machinegun was involved somehow. That would explain many things.
Just speculation on my part. But after the pre ban crap started people were converting their machine guns back to select fire because they were "pre ban". I corrected my customers and told them the first line of the law removed them from ever being considered pre ban. (1) [Any] "Assault weapon" means:
(A)   (i) Any selective-fire firearm capable of fully automatic, semiautomatic or burst fire at the option of the user

Bushmaster maybe, I wont do it and Deirdre wont issue a cert for it but some FFLs will transfer.

Colt Sporter Target good to go as long as serial is in range.

The problem with the Bushy is the records. I know where the cutoff is but cant prove it as Bushys records are in a basement in Martinsburg or wherever ATF records go to die these days. Deirdre wont issue a cert because it is impossible to verify. Colts are easy as are some of the other makes. Bushy is just too much of a risk for me but clearly some FFLs are willing to transfer them.

Any more info on what got George arrested?  I noticed in addition to the AW charges, he has a second docket number for two counts of illegal transfer/purchase of a pistol or revolver

Wrongthink in CT? The audacity to believe being American still means "land of the free" and not just "home of the brave"? Sardonic submissions aside, I'm curious as well.
