.380s in my sleep
« on: October 29, 2018, 12:32:46 PM »

As my wife is taking to her S&W 380 EZ, I've been rolling out box after box of .380 Auto ammo.
Used to be, that I was loading the inexpensive 95g JRNs in .38 Special, as they were available in bulk and nobody seemed to want them (before the resurgence in .380 Auto, at least). Slightly under-size, but they shot well for me and were adequate for knocking over pepper-poppers.
These bullets work just fine in the niner, too, as an economy plinking round.
In a stretch, I suppose they'd make for economy range fodder in .35 Remington, too. I've got 20 to 60 mts here, so bring your 336 down and sample some. I'd be curious if the COL would be too short to feed reliably.
Anyway, time to switch over to 6.5x50 Japanese... "I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so!"
