IV8888 - "Our Top Reloading Powders"
« on: August 13, 2018, 12:28:19 PM »

I don't experiment much with different loads.  Once I find a powder and load that works for me I stick to it.  If I had more time maybe I would experiment more.

I learned this lesson as I started loading for more and more calibers.  I started to pair down to powders I could use for several calibers.

For me, I've been using CFE pistol, CFE223, CFEBLK and H4198.  This covers  my pistol, rifle and magnum loads.

I haven't gotten to deep into shotgun loading yet.  I have the press and have played around, but no commitments.  Still looking at tools for slugs and buckshot.  Walmart keeps clearing out shotgun shells/slugs so I keep stocking up on loaded ammo instead of tools.
