Sweet. I like the 9x18 and contrary to what this reporter says, I find 9x18 is much less expensive then 380 and a bit more powerful.

I’ve been waiting for Lone Wolf to get the 9x18 barrel in stock. Granted, I have no immediate need, but I figured it would be worth it seeing as I already have a Glock 42. I like the 42.

Well, I have neither firearm, but I do have a slew of 9x18 bullets; no brass, of course.
bring brass and we can reload all the GDHP, XTP and LRN that you'll need.

The stock g42 mag will work with 9x18 ammo?

Not for nothing and not to be a debby downer, seeing you said that I check my magazines for the LCP. Don't know what Lone Wolf is smoking just the 9x18 will not fit properly or function in the LCP magazines.

From Lone Wolf.....

Barrel Features:
PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA!
Fits Ruger LC380
Designed for lead, plated, or jacketed ammunition
Certified, stress relieved 416 stainless steel
Button rifled, three stage honed bore
Industry recognized SBN premium coating (SBN is Salt Bath Nitride, similar to Tennifer)
Heat treated to RC 40-42, then SBN coating increases surface hardness to RC 60
Exacting tolerances allow for drop in installation
Conversion requires use of factory Ruger .380 magazine. 9x18 Makarov ammo fits in the Ruger .380 magazines.
Due to SBN coating we are unable to custom chamber or custom crown Alpha Wolf barrels.

Glad you said something. I know the CZ-82 (9x18) and the CZ-83 (380) the cartridges fit and function properly in the magazines. Going on that and what L/W said I would've guessed they'd fit. I would've been wrong.

The LC380 is not the same as an LCP.  Same caliber, but different gun.

Ok I'm smoking something then :)

Why would the LC magazines take the 9x18 and not the LCPs? ehh no big deal. I got excited over nothing for the LCP. Guess I'll stick with my CZs and Maks then :)

Appears as though the article had an incorrect title bar. The text states LC 380...you're right.
Actually, I was the one in error. I cut and pasted the link, but typed in my title incorrectly. So sorry!

Title in OP should read:

9×18 Makarov Conversions for Glock 42 and Ruger LC380
