This is almost equivalent to pigs flying coming from the 9th.

It was just a 3 judge panel who will be overturned by the rest of the court.

This is like saying the constitution is constitutional.

If and when it gets an en banc (I think that's the right term) in front of the full 9th circuit court it will be overturned. That's often how it goes with these kinds of gun cases that come up the pipe in the 9th. 2-1 ruling in favor of 2A then the full court overturns and rules against 2A.

The real issue both this this case and the magazine case is will SCOTUS grant a hearing and actually take up one or both of teh cases to unfrack these unconstitutional laws that so clearly violate the whole "shall not be infringed" part.

Potentially, a government is the most dangerous threat to man's rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.

Haven’t we gotten pro 2A rulings from the panel before only for them to be overturned by the full court? I don’t understand the excitement

Unlikely to be overturned because then it could go to SCOTUS, which will likely make it national. NY, NJ etc. are pressuring CA, HI etc. behind the scenes to swollow this (OC now per-se legal throughout the west coast) in the vain hope they can either stonewall kavanaugh or browbeat roberts.
