Anyone seek .32 caliber toppings?
« on: June 06, 2018, 07:27:17 PM »

Was at Hansen's (Southport) this afternoon and there were multiple boxes of 77g .312 LRN if anyone is reloading .32 ACP or other .32s
I've found these bullets can be sized and used in .30 Luger or, as is, in 7.62x54R/.303 British/7.65 Argentine/7.7 Jap gallery loads.
Even a partial box of .329" diameter bullets for 8x56mm or other similar cartridges.
No1 and No4 Enfields, Arisaka's, Krag-Jorgensen, CZ-38, Berthier, and assorted Mausers.

Nah, it's more of a "why can't this be done?" attitude and going ahead and doing it, or at least trying it.

Too bad I don't have a lot of discretionary cash, like you, so I could actually buy some of these treasures, huh?

On second thought, I suppose these bullets could easily be used in .32 S&W, Long, H&R, .327 and .32-20 as well.
Bring them over and let's load 'em up! (You'll need to provide brass, of course. I may have minimal amounts of .32-20...?)

My neighbor has one of those cz-38s; what a goof. The barrel hinges at the muzzle when disassembled (2:21...).
