Apparently it is new according to the video.  CT legal?  I don't want one, but maybe someone here does.

If the barrel is under 12 inches in length and is transferred as a pistol then it would be illegal in ct due to the magazine well being outside the pistol grip. If the "grip" is considered a pistol grip. Lengthen the barrel to over 12 inches and its a "maybe it's legal" type of firearm. It cannot be transferred as a rifle if barrel is over 12 inches due to the stupid ban on under 30 inch semiautomatic detachable magainze centerfire rifles.

Edit to add: If the "grip" on that firearm is considered a "pistol grip" then it raises the question of how is the "grip" on the SCR not a pistol grip.

Potentially, a government is the most dangerous threat to man's rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.

Transfer just the lower?

They do just sell the lowers and those have been transferred here.  I'm guessing that was what Madsmith had/has in mind for turning it into an "other"
