All these nuances make my head spin. I feel like I have to make a spreadsheet to figure everything out.

Does one need a pistol permit to by an other. Or can a 20y old get one on a rifle/hunting license?

I'm very curious about this too. I know you have to be 21 to buy anything other than a rifle or shotgun, but I think the law only requires the pistol permit for long guns, pistols, and revolvers or long gun permit for rifles and shotguns so I'm not sure.

An 'Other' is not a rifle or pistol or an AOW so it is required to be bought with a pistol permit to cover everybody's ass !

So I stopped by Elite 111, and spoke to Ron.  He said the first shipment of Radical Firearms others has shipped.  I also broached the subject of Radical's QC issues.  He said he knew the owners well, and that they would stand behind the product 100%.  He also said they had some growing pains, and things go out that shouldn't have, and the company wants to make sure things are GTG from now on.

Since he is selling the RA products, I would expect him to defend them.  But, I have spoken to Ron quite a lot, seen him speaking to his customers, and he seems like a straight shooter.

He said the first batch of "others" would have a 12.5" barrel, but the next would be 13".  He also said the front takedown pin not removable, so you can't replace the upper with something illegal.

Once again, no dog in the fight, just reporting to the group so they can decide.
Politicians, like diapers, should be changed frequently and for the same reasons.
