Definitely not Dene Adams then, she'd have fit it all under normal clothes. Had me all excited for a minute there...

But it will be like teaching a pig to sing, a waste of your time, and you'll only succeed in anoying the pig.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the quick replies. Now the tricky part will be what she will end up wanting to carry.
She shoots a S&W M66 in DA pretty well. In fact, I gave it to her to keep in her night stand
because she is so comfortable using it. Too bad it weighs a ton and has a 4 inch barrel or
we would be all set. Something like a J Frame S&W would be ideal, size and weight wise
but they are not the easiest guns to shoot. Maybe a smaller semi-auto like an HK VP9SK
or a Glock 26 would be better. I do like the idea of a double action revolver for her in terms
of the reliability factor and the ease of use under duress. We shall see what works best for her.
Thanks again,
Chris D.

SP101 with the 2 1/4 or 3" barrel? Small, relatively light weight, 5 shot, DA/SA.
I love CT. I've lived here my entire life, it's all the socialists and libtards that I hate.

or a snub S&W model 19 (2 /12)?  Using .38s rather than .357s.

Thanks again for the suggestions. Of course I had  both an SP101 with a 3 inch barrel and a NIB S&W 66 with a 2.5 inch barrel that I either sold or traded off foolishly a few years back. The sad part is I can’t remember what I had to have so badly at the time that these guns had to go to make way for the next one.
That might make an interesting thread, guns that you regret getting rid of.

I’m very glad to hear that. If I remember correctly, you ran into the same difficulty I had trying to find one with the 3 inch barrel locally.

That’s right. I didn’t want the snubbie or the longer barrel. The 3 1/16” barrel is really an excellent carrying revolver with accuracy beyond Jack Ruby range.

“Jack Ruby range” is the funniest thing I heard today. Well done.
