I-84E Billboard advertising Dec 16 Hartford Gun Buyback
« on: December 03, 2017, 01:26:40 PM »

Big electronic billboard on I-84 Eastbound just before Exit 36 was advertising a Gun Buyback on December 16 in Hartford.

I forget the rest of the details (some community center, maybe?) and a cursory Google search turns up nothing.

Wow, I feel so safe now! Think I'll do my Christmas shopping in Hartford after the 16th!

"Firearm violence is a major public health problem...".
Keep watching for stuff like this as your friendly neighborhood leftists
find new ways to justify their antics.
The scary part is that so many of the gullible sheep can and will easily buy into this.

The $$ amounts have dropped quite a bit...  I remember back in the mid 90's when you got $250-500 for a so called Salty Rifle and got gift cards for Walmart (I turned in a $89 SKS)  And bought a new shotgun and shells at Walmart with the gift card  ;D

They've been trying to position grabbing guns as a "public health" issue for years. They'd rather focus on guns rather than the real issues that lead people to violence and suicide. To focus on the root drivers/causes of suicide and violence would force them to confront some very uncomfortable truths about themselves and their ideology.

Potentially, a government is the most dangerous threat to man's rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.

The irony. They WANT people to bring guns to the Connecticut CHILDREN'S Medical Center?  :dunno:  :wall:

Is this why the payouts are so low now? Most of their monies are going toward advertising? :eyejack:

Would it be wrong if I stood in the parking lot with a sign that said “Better prices paid for your arms than the state is offering” in an attempt to get some good deals on some hard to find guns? Lol
There is no excuse that can be made, That can justify partaking in the needless slaughter of good pets, except complete ignorance!
