Pay your fees and taxes with the money you saved by cancelling your NRA membership.

I'm not going to search for your post with the search "feature" in this forum, because it is the worst search engine I have ever seen anywhere.  I can almost never find anything.

A week or so ago you wrote you had melted your NRA membership card.  That implies membership cancellation.  I did not know you were burning your membership card only to sniff the fumes

I have Charter so maybe Comcast works differently.

You need to call and talk to a retention specialist and see what current deals they have. It's a PITA but I get one for 12 months and relax noting on the calendar a month early to call and b*tch for something new cuz when that offer expires you best have some Vaseline handy!

I didn't have good luck last month cuz the deals suck and it went up but I was able to work something that made it better than the default tho not as good as I had. I now know that I should call every 3 or 4 weeks and see what's new and maybe it's better than what I have.

If I could get all the important channels I want I'd keep the internet (60 MBPS) and get Ooma for my phone and drop the TV with the better option. To be honest as much as it costs I couldn't be without it. The phone part I don't use much cuz I only know 2 out of state and seldom call LD in state. Internet is very good. The TV charges are a joke (DVR and a set top box plus the 10 or 20 taxes/fees) but I like following new and new season shows and AFAIK the only way to do that is with cable - Gold Rush, Edge of Alaska, there's several and I like channels that are all not OTA so I'm willing to pay.

I love CT. I've lived here my entire life, it's all the socialists and libtards that I hate.

my internet through comcast is great, i hit 237 mb download speed. cable is a waste, i barely ever watch it, I stopped watching sports, so  comcast tv and its fees can go screw.  Tv will be getting discontinued tonight......

I'm getting a few Roku boxes to replace the monthly rental fee and use the Xfinity stream app that mirrors the cable  box dvr and all. I currently have one TV with it built in and I can't complain its really good. I seldom watch live TV unless it's one of my favorite car repair shows on Velocity or vice land. I can do without live but not dvr or on demand.

If you do get something good please share.

never said I was going to beat fees and taxes......   just listed them as bullshit...
They are also not a part of Comcast. These fees and taxes which you seem to hate so much are brought to you by your benevolent government. Both state and federal.
