Plate Shoot 14 April 10 AM

This Sunday's plate shoot will be a head to head competition with approx. 16 targets per shooter. 
Drawing from the holster will be allowed this year for those want practice for IDPA, Steel Challenge, etc.  A holster that covers the trigger guard and has a retention sys., along with mag holders will be required.  Race holsters are allowed.
This Sundays weather is predicted to be cloudy, with temps in the mid to high 50's, low 60's.

This Sunday's plate shoot will be a head competition with approx 15 targets.  Extended forecast for Sunday, 50% chance of rain showers in the morning.

Re 28 April match...

Tomorrows forecast is for showers and light rain starting at approx. 11:00 Am, lasting to approx 1:00 PM.  I'll be at the range at about 8:30 for those wishing chance the rain and shoot.  We do have pop-up covers that will be put up.

POC Outdoor plate shot 5/26/2019 10:00AM

This Sundays plate shoot will be a head to head competition with approx 16 targets per shooter.
The format for Sunday's will be stock pistol/revolver and pistol caliber carbine.  Calibers are limited to 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP, no 10MM.  Entry fee will stay the same $5 per gun for members and $10 per gun for non-members.  Any question please contact me via email.
Open and stock pistol matches will resume in June.

I'm assuming they will allow .38 Specials in your revolver and lever gun, too...don't know 100%

Sunday, 23 June 2019 1000 hours:

This Sunday's plate shoot will be a timed event, with approx. 24 targets.  Forecast for Sunday, sunny with temps in the low 80's.
Sunday's match is a practice for Wallum Lake Mini Walls scheduled for 6/29.  Perfect chance to brush up if you are planning to shoot the Mini Walls.

14 July 2019, 1000 hours...

This Sundays plate shoot will be a head to head competition with approx 14 targets per shooter.  Extend weather forecast is for temp in the high 80's to low 90's, please bring plenty of liquids.

Because of the increase in shooter attending the matches we are going to try a new format this Sunday.  One line of open guns and one line of stock guns, i.e. 4 people shooting at the same time.  This will require more help from individuals, line officers, score keeping and target resetting.  Hopefully this will move the match along a bit quicker.  Any questions or comments pleas email me.
