Adjusting scope

Hello all.
So my rifle is zeroed for 30ft.
When i go outdoors whicj way do i need to adjust the scope for greater distances ?
This always baffles me.

Personally, I'd shoot at the range at which your scope is calibrated before doing any adjustments. If it's incremented at 1/4 at 100 yards, shoot at 100 yards and see where it's hitting. Then proceed to adjust as above.
Bring it down, you can shoot at 25 yards to 100 meters.
