Springfield SAR 3/48 ?
« on: March 20, 2017, 02:31:16 PM »

Given both models ceased production well before 1994, are both of these model permissible as pre-ban? Obviously with 10-rnd (or less) magazine.

So is a Colt Match Target, a Mini-14, and generally an "AR-15". The "banned by name" thing has always confused me.

They are good to go. I checked with Delta and they were more than happy to transfer a Springfield SAR-48.

Doesn't matter. If its manufactured prior to 9/13/94 it can be purchased/sold/transferred and doesn't need to be registered as an AW with the state. And here is the preban statute...

Sec. 53-202m. Circumstances when assault weapons exempt from limitations on transfers and registration requirements.

Potentially, a government is the most dangerous threat to man's rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.
