Another mild day, considering.

Not shooting today as I took advantage of the good weather to go sightseeing in Gotham.

Nobody shooting these days? I guess you've all locked your firearms up for the winter, huh?
Tried a few 90g GDHPs in the 9mm test gun. I didn't expect any issues, but they went threw the balloons like a hot knife through butter, the ultimate ballistic test, right? Without a chronograph, I don't have any real idea how fast they go, but I suspect close to 1350 fps out of the 3.25" barrel.

I spend my money on guns, not ammo. ;D

I figured that was the deal. Most are flipping guns; don't do any shooting. Whatever floats your boat, I guess...

11/24, was off to the range with a Troy retro-ish other firearm. I put about 100-120 rounds through it for first shots.  Fun gun.

11/25, welcomed our third child, a little baby girl. No time to shoot that day.

I forget, but Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon saw 50 rounds of .22lr in the back yard on steel. 20 CCI Quiets from a ‘53 Marlin 39 and 30 AE Suppressor rounds from a suppressed Ruger American Rimfire. Man, I forgot how quiet that setup is.

12/01, a quick trip to work with the other. Running out of windage on the Troy. May have to strip the upper down and try to correct the issue. Blew through 50 rounds on plates with the Glock 34. Fun stuff.

Over gunned and under shot. Miles to go.

So there you go CT6shot, range time is happening. Admittedly, I need more. It’s tough though. I can either spend time at the gun shop or range. Never both.

The struggle is real.

Hey, at least you're getting some trigger time.
For those that can get up there, the NWCSA is a fine venue. Do it, if you can!

40 degrees and sunny, if you can call the current low sun angle sunny.

Forgot to wear gloves, so handling cold steel AR500 targets sucked big time.

Glock 29 10mm from a shoulder rig.  Tried to grab second spare mag from rig, but dry hands wouldn't pull it out.  (For the youngin's here: old = dry skin).  Also pulled an abdominal muscle reaching for the mag.  Shit!  Gonna have to apply for a girly-man card.

Somebody must make sweatpants holsters.
Finally acquired some more rifle brass, so I can stop reloading the same 20 cases several times a day... yippee!
Now I'm out of bullets again!
Happened by Chris' Shooting Range in Guilford. He has three boxes of Hornady .323" diameter (125g) bullets for $20.
Sorry, they aren't my size any longer.
