9/20 Update

Cabelas: Yes, but you have to send them both your permit and your driver's license. This applies to both home delivery and in store pickup orders.

This is based on the other thread in the ammo section linked here:

For the companies that are still listed as no reply, I'll reach out to them again early next week. For the companies listed as Pending I will reach out again the week of Oct 1st.

Gates are closing gents, do what you have to do.

I would like to extend a 'Good Job' to valkrie for doing this work for the Forum ad it's members.

I think this is very useful information on who we can count on to purchase accessories and items from.

Aww shucks ;). My pleasure, I was going to do it anyways, figured I would share.

Good thought. Currently on a weekend trip with friends, but I'll try to get around to hotlinking them next week (see how my work hours play out). If you want a specific one  sooner shoot me a PM.

Looks like Sportsman's Guide is good to go now. I have some ammo on backorder and just got the following email.

Hello Steve,

Connecticut State Law prohibits us from shipping ammo and/or magazines to you without having a valid Driver's License or State ID and one of the four permits or certificates listed below:

Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers
Eligibility Certificate for Pistols and Revolvers
Long Gun Eligibility Certificate
Ammo Certificate

To complete this sale, please respond to this email with them attached or fax these documents as soon as possible to: 651-306-3977.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you for shopping The Sportsman's Guide!

Thank you,

Spoke to someone at Natchez Shooter Supply - they are waiting to see what happens after 10/1, and will then formulate a CT policy (they do the same with IL sales).

Bought from ammo depot last week. Got a phone call from a very nice gentleman telling me they needed a copy of my permit and DL or other ID. He gave me the email address, I sent the documents. He called me back 30 mins later to say they got them and I'm all set. On my way home now, but the ammo should be there.
