I have visited this forum a couple of times before, but yesterday I noticed how many users were actually online, reading the board at that particular moment. Quite impressive! It was so awesome to see such an active crowd particularly from Southern CT, so I immediately decided to move in. :)

Thought I should say hello.

Have been lurking for a few weeks and enjoyed reading everyone's posts.

I am new to all this, have never owned a gun and just submitted my CT pistol permit app this month.  Hearing of the SPBI Backlog when I applied is really what got me here, although I would likely found my way here sooner or later.

I hope to be able to attend the meet-up on April 11th.  I don't really have any friends around here who are interested in Guns unfortunately and being new to this myself I'm definitely looking to meet some like minded folks.
