Shots fired at Channel 30 news crew
« on: February 21, 2012, 10:15:51 AM »
A news crew from Ch 30 which was parked outside of Cerda's Market on Shelton Avenue came under fire. The market has been robbed earlier by two masked men. One of the robbers discharged his firearm into the ceiling of the market. Later...

...a reporter and photographer for Channel 30 were sitting in their live truck, parked across the street from Cerda's when two people walked by. The two went a little further down the block then turned, braced against a tree, and opened fire on the truck.

Four shots were fired. One shot hit the back of a silver car, which had apparently just driven by the news van.

Hell, I'll stay here in cornball Barkhamsted.

At least there aren't any gangs up here... unless you count the mentally challenged redneck wannabes.  ;D

LOL I'd feel safer in NH also rather than my own city of Bloodsport. New Haven and Bridgeport are pretty equal on the violence meter. The difference between the two is(this is said in BPT all the time) New Haven thugs/hoodlums where masks when they shoot. BPT thugs/hoodlums don't give a rats arss and will shoot you bare face. Part reason to why most of BPT's murders are solved and many of NH are not.

Hell, I'll stay here in cornball Barkhamsted.

You'll be fine on pizza night  ;) I blend in with the NH crowd.
