CT Gun Talk made the big time!
« on: February 17, 2012, 04:48:24 PM »
Was surfing the net a little while ago and noticed that CT Gun Talk hit the big time lol. Seems now a millions more people will now know of CT Gun Talk and the "people" who post in it.
CT Gun Talk has a mention in a thread in http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1401989 over at Glock Talk. Looks like it started out as a thread about CT's firearm history and the plight that has taken its place, in the empty buildings when some left. To CT bashing and the "...so many 'tards on CTGuntalk..." lol. I thought it was funny and had to share.

Wow, people really hate New Haven.  I mean, I've only lived here for a year...but what gives?  I understand that at one point it was worse than it is now...and there are parts that I would NOT walk around at night (fair haven, parts of downtown).  But we have enjoyed it so far, our house is right on the New Haven/East Haven line, so away from any drama...but we are downtown all the time at night eating, going to bars, seeing bands, etc...

not that bad of a thread, only guy up there that i couldnt respect is dbarhsi, he seems to try to promote his opinion as fact, as well as question anything anyone says about anything... must be one sad, lonely and bored individual (not a fact, just an assumption)... he seems like a joke...

the other posters aren't bad and pretty respectable overall...

New Haven? I think me and my fellow Bridgeporters caught the brunt of the thread. :-

I wish some of the old gun factories had been turned into shooting ranges and factory outlet stores/museums.  At least that would have created jobs and kept some the old gun heritage as well give us additional gun range options.  It pains me when I go to other gun forums and they say things like "Try to find a North Haven Marlin" or "Hartford High Standard"

I don't frequent Glocktalk for years after seeing how opinionated and close minded most members there were, so I can't be sure, but he is probably the same guy a bunch of us had problems with trolling the forum, b*tching about CT and how much he hates the state and it's laws and how it sucked, yadda yadda yadda. He kept coming back with different screennames after being banned constantly about 2 years ago starting fights, making threats etc..

I'm not a member over there but I read through that thread.  I'm 100% positive that is him.
