Those '06 Super Duties are some sharp looking trucks.  The F150s back then were nice looking too, now they are hideous.

agreed, not a fan of the newer super duties either, too much grille and headlight. my favorite are the 05-07's, nice, sharp, clean looking trucks.

I agree....05-07 Super Duty's are sharp looking.
What did the mods/upgrades run you? Gotta run like a raped ape, no?Stock, the 6.0 can haul ass and pull like hell.
Just curious.
To afraid to tinker with mine. Problem free with 82,000mi.
(Of course I probably just frigg'n jinxed myself)
Oil and OEM oil/fuel filters religiously, cetane boost every fill up, plenty of warm-up time before driving, avoid puttsing around/grocery getting with it, 3 min idles to cool off before ever shutting down, etc...

82k problem free is pretty good. both mine and my dads needed turbos under 50k, but thats covered under warranty. drive it till something goes then build it. egr delete and headstuds will basically bullet proof it.

mine runs decent, egr delete, arp studs, 03 turbo, and sct custom tunes. im guessing its putting around 425-450 to the ground. definitely a fun turn key and go truck. setup as it is with injectors i think i could make 500-550 but im waiting for the stockers to go. which they probably wont b/c i use the additives religiously. that goes a long way

Yeah the 5.9L is an amazing Engine .... too bad it's like buying a gold nugget wrapped in a turd. LOL

I gotta say one thing about diesels; they're nice... but man, those blocks are heavy as all get out (understandable though, with the compression they work with).

But I like the 460 that's going into my TravelAll... and that is a HEAVY sumab*tch, but not nearly as heavy as a 6.2 (IIRC) diesel we pulled from a GMC van. 8)

02 Dodge with a p-pump (p7100) conversion.  Raced it a few times (1/4 mile), with a best of 11.04 @ 118 mph. Nothing stock left on the truck..lol

Yeah I was gonna say, alot more than a pump on her if yer doing just over 11 seconds in the 1/4 mi.
Lots of money I bet too.  Gotta luv it.

Never actually owned one, but I spent enough time inside a Mack, International, Volvo, Peterbuilt and Freightliner...
Me too, about 30 years worth!
