this is a pic of djmiked's rifle.  he keeps it in a dresser drawer next to a bottle of water soluble lube.  he's had it pink cerakoted after i took this pic.  there was a sling but i found it tied to a bedpost.

Here's my two babies.

The first one is a M&P 15 Sport. I had a cheap scope on it and what not but decide to go a better route. It should look completely different then this in the next few months. ill be sure to post pictures as it progresses.

oh and by the way if anyones interested in the magpul grip or that screw on barrel rail clamp let me know as those arent a part of my future plans.

And my second one is a EA Co. pre ban rifle. not really gonna change anything on. The M&P will be my "tacti-cool" rifle and the pre ban will be my nothing beats the bare bones rifle. Only thing it really could use is an internal rebuild hadn't been fired for almost 15 years till i got it had a few hiccups with springs and what not but nothing major

Almost done with this one, Colt LE 6920 Upper cut and pinned to 16.1" OAL with the A2 hider by JoJo's. PWA lower with all Daniel Defense parts, Daniel Defense RIS II FSP rail. Need to get a longer Tango Down rough textured cover for the left side and a sling.

Also, I think I'm going with a T1 for an optic. Ran 750 rounds through it on Monday with no hiccups. 8)

That's a nice M1a, and Mark IV, What scope mount did you use? Your rifles look to be setup very well.
Where did ya get the pink ear muffs? My wife likes them.

thanks, i try to do as much research and set stuff up the best i can for my "needs" lol

I've read that the one thing you can not cheap out on with a scoped M1A is the mount, so i researched online for a bit, and I was going to go with a sadlak mount, but ended up using the springfield 4th gen, ive heard good and bad about springfields earlier mounts, but jojo's had it in stock while they were holding my mark 4 and M1A, so i wasnt waiting. $200 i think i spent on it? i cant really remember, i bought the mark 4, mount, and a pre-ban AR lower all in the same day, so it all kinda blurred together lol. i have read that sadlak is the best mount to go with. if the gen 4 does me wrong ill sell it and probably get the sadlak. my one regret is getting a 50mm objective lens, the SA mount is supposed to allow you to see under the scope and use irons, but since i got the 50mm the scope blocks my irons. not really a big deal to me once i looked through the mark 4, but it would have been nice to have the option.

the earmuffs are made by remington. i got them for her at cabelas for christmas haha
