My 'Portagie' .308 from Classic Arms came in today. It was in excellent condition.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif] Service was impeccable, and shipping was lightning fast. Nice, long-term storage battle packs. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I think my next purchase will be reloadable, boxer primed .308 Hirtenburger, if I can find it, though.

I'd have to give a +1 to www.sportsmansguide.com ... I just received my first ammo order from them that I placed via the Internet.

For some unique cartridges and components, I usually check polygunbag.com from time to time. If you buy brass or plain bullets (inert items) they will ship flat-rate USPS. Ammunition, tracer bullets, etc., will come via UPS. I've ordered several times w/o issues from them.
Maybe not the place for the best variety of standard fodder, but for obscure items... one of the best IMO.

www.SGAmmo.com is another one. He has great prices and selection and his shipping is in most cases plainly listed at the deal for one or multiples of deals. In contrast to places like Ammoman where the shipping is included, the more you buy from SGAmmo the cheaper the deal/shipping and it's flatrate. He also has an excellent rating on GunBroker.

www.luckygunner.com is my preferred vendor, I like that they ship fast, so na waiting around, plus I found them to have some of the best price + shipping combo on line.

Thanks.
