I'm in a never ending quest for a simple life. I don't want a golf bag full of guns and different types of ammo for every thought and possible scenario. I want one maybe two different rifles. One round type for both that will do everything.

When I met you up at Metacon the day I was there with Slut and Vlod you were right next to me with a table full of guns! I think it's a great thing that you want to narrow your selection of guns down to what you use. Focus on them and learn to run them like Hendrix runs a guitar. I know you know this, but solid training trumps ammo choice every day all day. As for the MK318 MOD-0, start here http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=60877 and here http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=90328 for all you ever wanted to know about it, but start reading that thread from the first page. It's worth your time and you will see that it's pretty solid ammo. And if you dig around the good doc's posts a bit more, you will see that 193 and 855 will do the job, but there is wayyyyy better ammo out there. These days I just shoot steel cased ammo to train/practice and blow out all the crap with a mag of 556 pressure 193 at the end of the day. The $ I save using steel cased goes into TAP 75gr T2 or Barnes 50-70gr TSX stuff. Science doesn't lie Shot placement doen't either though. And a bit more knowledge for ya:http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=19881and from the forum where all of the links above comes from...read the sticky's:http://www.m4carbine.net/forumdisplay.php?f=91
